【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandarddefinesatestmethodfordeterminationofthesmokedensityduetopyroliticdecompositionofsolidmaterialsandcompositematerialsofupto25mminthicknessundertheinfluenceofradiantheatonlyorwithsimultaneousflameapplication.Thetestresultsenableacomparisonofthesmokeproductionofdifferentmaterialsormaterialconfigurationsundertheconditionsspecifiedinthisstandard.NOTE1ThesmokegasdensityisdeterminedaccordingtothespecificenvironmentalandtestconditionsdefinedinEN2824andthisstandard.Nostudieshavebeenmadeuptonowtodeterminewhethertheresultscanbetransferredtodifferingconditions,particularlytoactualfireconditions.NOTE2Theburningbehaviour-andconsequentlythesmokedensity-ofaerospacematerialsarenotonlyinfluencedbythetypeofmaterialbutalsotoalargeextentbytheconfiguration,thespecificsurfaceandmass,thecombinationwithothermaterials,themeansofjoiningaswellastheprocessingtechnique.
